What I wish I knew at 30 vs 47. You need to chew your food and by that I mean actually chew it, but also take some time to notice the good things that are happening every day right in front of you. I know when you're going through it, that can be harder, but it's even more important during famines than it is during feasts. So when you make a really good breakfast with really good ingredients, chew it, taste it, observe it, relish it. And when you accomplish a goal or you clean your bathroom really well or you have some small wins, some little tiny you have to recognize it or else everything starts to spiral towards the end. You're eating really fast because you're in some race. And you need to chew your food because it triggers a whole cascade of stuff for digestion and improves your jaw and like all this stuff. You just gotta chew your food. I'm not saying you have to chew it a hundred times, but there was strategy behind that lesson. It'll taste better. And if you observe your life, the good things too. You're not in a race to extract the joy from it.
