Angus Barn in Raleigh is overrated. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but everyone in Raleigh is familiar with that iconic red barn off of Glenwood Avenue. It is really cool to drive by and look at, but I'll say it's more of a tourist trap than it is a nice steakhouse. I've been more times than I can count and every single time I'm underwhelmed. But I will give this to him. It is a unique experience. They have a nice setup, it's always lit up nice, say Christmas. It's worth checking out just for the trees and all of the lights. And they have a very nice cheese dip selection and their chocolate chess pie is award winning. The service is pretty solid, but their actual steak is subpar. So let me know what you think, is Angus Barn worth the hype or not?
