I made this gorgeous two-tone ring for my best friend three years ago, but her style has changed. So we transformed it into two bold, chunky stacking rings. Welcome back to episode 5 of my series, Worn Not Stored. I take pieces stuck in your jewelry box, completely reimagine them so you can wear them every single day. My client loved this reset so much, she literally wore it every single day. But as she was wearing it, she learned two things that she wanted to incorporate into her new design. First, because the stones were prong set, she had a hard time keeping the stones clean on a daily basis. So she just has a really cool, gold aesthetic now and loves the look of bold, chunky gold. And with those two golds in mind, we ended up creating two rings instead of one. And here they are. As you can see, they honor her love for the bold and heavy gold aesthetic. We also created half bezel settings that not only allow the light to pass through, but they're also fully backed with gold in order to help keep her diamonds clean and sparkly during daily wear.
