My client had these two rings from her grandmother and we transformed them into one show stopping ring. Welcome back to episode 4 of my series Worn Not Stored, where I take pieces stuck in your jewelry box completely, so you can wear them every single day. The first step in our heirloom process is extracting all of the stones from the materials to see what we have to work with. For this particular reset, majority of the stones and the metal were usable for the new ring and that's a huge win. Next, I work with a client to come up with a one of a kind design, which you can see here in this render. We kept the large stone as the focal point and then we sprinkle the other stones on the band in a burnished flush setting. And here's the finished product, truly the epitome of an heirloom reset.
