Most people don’t realize that an anterior pelvic tilt can make the stomach appear more pronounced. Instead of simply tucking your pelvis under, the goal is to improve the balance and support of your pelvis and spine. Try this wall exercise: walk your feet forward, place your lower back against the wall, and gently rotate your pelvis back until your lower back is flat. Keep your weight evenly distributed through your heels and hold for up to two minutes. This position activates the quads, builds postural endurance and helps reset the pelvis back into a more upright position.
