Is anybody else so stressed about the sheer quantity of shit being created?

Is anybody else so stressed about the sheer quantity of shit being created? Like, anytime I'm in a retail store, all I can think about is just how much stuff was made brand new, and like, what's gonna happen to it when it inevitably doesn't sell. Because the thrift stores are overflowing. Like, there is so much that has been produced already. And so to think about every single brand and every single store making new arrivals every week, like, I actually feel ill thinking about it. So if you feel the same way, you're in the right place. Cause I can't stop talking about this. I can't stop talking about how much more deliberate we need to be with the new stuff that we're making, considering how much stuff has already been made. And if you haven't thought about this, you're also in the right place, because we should all be thinking about this, and we should all be asking and expecting so much more from the brands that are making new things, keeping in mind how much already exists. And that something has to happen to these new clothes. Like, they have to go somewhere, and maybe they come home with people and maybe they wear them a couple times, but a lot of it doesn't. A lot of it doesn't sell. And that's why when brands make crazy stuff that are made out of terrible materials and try to charge really high prices for it, it's physically upsetting to me.
