how I landed a $10K brand deal as a microinfluencer with less than 30K on IG & 80K on TikTok I just got offered $10,000 for a brand deal for one video and I have less than 30k Instagram and 80k on TikTok. That just got me thinking, what have I been doing differently this past year was first starting out that got me this point. Hopefully this can help some of you if you're trying content creator space and save you same mistakes I did. So first, I used to only make videos with trending audio behind it and would never talk to the camera or do voiceovers. Nowadays, with this many people to become content creators, only things that will differentiate your video is your personality, and your perspective. I know talking to the camera people uncomfortable, me included, I still hate doing it, but I promise you it's gonna make such a difference performance in the long run. Like obviously yes, easier just to slap on a trending audio to your video and call it a day. But I encourage you to try and because I promise it's gonna pay off. The other mistake was relying on luck and virality rather than focusing on a few content buckets and with that. I would post the most random didn't get more than, like 500 views I would give up for days maybe weeks, some motivation back to create And that's how a year or two. I never took it seriously, that's really what Now, instead of trying to go viral on random videos, I try to stay very consistent with my content buckets and share things genuinely interested in. Then I'll study which videos actually perform well, and will start making multiple versions of the same concept to reinvent the wheel every time.
