how I've cleared
consumption
noise
out of my lifeeee
so I can spend and consume less
(and more intentionally)
consumption noise
is the feeling of constantly wanting
or needing to buy new things
it's triggered by external stimuli -
most commonly scrolling
and we're ALL guilty of it - myself
included!!
this year, I am
focused on:
buying
less &
buying
better
which means I
have become much more
intentional about what I
buy and what I
choose to CONSUME!
here's how I've
edited my life to get rid of constant
consumption noise
I unfollow &
unsubscribe
daily
if an influencer is only
posting useless links, I'm
out. I follow people for
inspiration and to learn
something, not to
mindlessly consume stuff
they don't even own (or
pay for!)
same goes for marketing
emails - immediate
unsubscribe. I don't need to
be reminded about new
products or sales daily!
honestly I am
pretty proud of
my follow list!!

I declutter
my space
any time I buy something, I
find something else to
donate, pass along to a
friend, or get rid of.
I do not want to accumulate
more stuff!! if anything, I
want to leave this apartment
with less than what I brought
in.
I literally declutter weekly
because the less I own, the
better I feel!! and the less I
want to buy.
I've picked up more hobbies
if you spend a lot of time shopping or scrolling you need a hobby ❤️ I have been loving ceramics lately!
• needlepointing
• crocheting/knitting
• working out
• cooking / baking
• reading
• coloring
• crosswords/ word games
