Hook
These are the 12 colleges where I saw the wildest rejections in the last application cycle. Starting with no. 12, we have Boston College for early decision applicants. At no. 11, we have Fordham University for regular decision applicants. At no. 10, UC Davis. They have recently taken the crown away from UC Irvine for the UC school with the most wild rejections. At no. 9, we have University of Michigan, in particular for in-state students. And at no. 8, University of Wisconsin Madison, in particular for out of state students. At no. 7, we have Emory University, in particular for early decision applicants. At no. 6, we have Boston University. I don't understand why they love rejecting or waitlisting valedictorians who are applying early decision. At no. 5, we have Northeastern University. At no. 4, we have a college that used to be a safety school for a lot of students, but has been more selective than ever given the surge in applications. And that is Virginia Tech. At no. 3, we have one of the most popular, if not the most popular private school out there, and that is NYU. At no. 2, we have an Ivy League University where people thought they would be taking students by the dozen, but they're still very selective. And that is Columbia University. And finally, at number one, college that I swear has just been getting greedier and greedier of students that they reject. And that is Vanderbilt University.
