I was a video of a lady who is also an immigrant, just like me, airing out her frustration about how she has completed uni with an MSc and she's still not getting a job. And the fact that she is working in a place where people have masters and they are doing support work and care jobs, like she doesn't understand, basically. I thought to make this video. You see, one thing that we should understand is that these schools, they are businesses and they just want to make their money. Personally, before I did my masters, before I did my MBA, the type of research that I did just wasn't just the school and the fees and where I was going to get a job after the course, right? Because after the course, another headache is COS. So I did my research, the school that I am choosing, the people that are going to take the course that I'm going to take the MBA after that course, what is their career trajectory? And then I went on LinkedIn. I reached out to people. I spoke to them, how did you land a job? You see, they were telling me that, oh, you had to do internships on the side. One thing you should also know is that companies in the UK, they care about certificates, but they care more about your UK experience. So while you are in school and studying and everything, you also have to try and volunteer, even if you are not going to get paid. I know you need money to pay your school fees and everything. But then on the side, you also have to be doing some internships on the side. If it's office, you want to work in. It's not just about going to school and finishing and then applying. You have to do a lot more than that if you really want to work in an office. It is very competitive market. So just going by applying work might not work for you. You have to do research that traditional and go through channels that are not very obvious and everywhere. And before look employment for that particular course. If you're going to take a course where the employment rate is 20%. Just know that after that you will be unemployed. Somebody. The UK job market is currently in the gutter. So do whatever you want with that information.
