Link in my bio! 🔗 Stop fearing your favourite carbs! By pairing rice with lentils and super-grains, you turn ordinary rice into a slow-release, gut-healing, muscle-building powerhouse. 🍚💪 Here’s how to make my Multigrain Rice: Gut-nourishing, high protein & fibre Ingredients: 1 ½ cups diabetic-friendly basmati rice (white or brown rice works too!) 1 cup mixed quinoa ½ cup lentils ½ cup green mung beans ½ cup adzuki red beans Instructions: 1. Combine: Mix all your grains, seeds, and beans together in a large bowl. 2. Soak: Cover with water and soak for at least 3 hours (ideally overnight!). Don’t skip this—it ensures everything cooks evenly. 3. Rinse: Drain and wash thoroughly. 4. Cook: Use a 1:2 ratio (1 cup of your grain mix to 2 cups of water or stock). Bring to a boil, cover, lower the heat, and simmer on the stove until light and fluffy. 5. Freeze & Save Time: Batch cook, freeze into meal prep portions, and simply defrost whenever you need instant, nutrient-dense rice! Got any questions about this mix?
