Part TWO and I could keep going… 😅 I see all haters so let me run my mouth some more. This is part two with things I dislike as a product developer and someone that works in the beauty industry. These are small details, but they itch at my brain. I do not… I do not like when the straw doesn't touch all the way to the bottom. See this? It looks like it's touching the bottom, but what I really wanted to do is touch the very edge of the bottle. This ensures that every single drop of product… but this one always leaves a little bit at the bottom and I have to unscrew it, dump it out. That experience, I don't love that experience. I don't find that a lot of brands are making this mistake nowadays, but it still happens time and time again, and it infuriates me. Nothing to do with the products because these are all my empties. Number two, if your shampoo, conditioner do not come in pumps, give me the shampoo right side up and the conditioner the other way around. The last thing I want to do is use my conditioner all the way to the bottom and do this 50 times in my shower. And you can say, well Jane, just turn it upside down. This conditioner is so when I… this, it usually topples over and I absolutely hate that. I guess I… for days. This is a detail that I know bothers a lot of people, but I understand it from a product development standpoint because it is very costly to do this. Shade indicators especially on lipsticks. These are the YSL lipsticks, they look the same on the outside and in order to find out because there's no shade indicator on the bottom either, you have to open it up and look at them individually. Let's compare packaging. This is Milani. As you can see, all of them have the shade matched to the color inside. This specifically is an expensive thing to do, but I would just love a shade indicator on the bottom, even if it's a label. This packaging from YSL is very heavy. I'm sure it's luxe, I'm sure it was very expensive, but for the price, give us a little shade label. So many of your pain points of my first video, I'm taking it. Hope brands are watching. And if you have any other concerns, please leave them down below because I would love to see what other pain points you have and how we can solve for them. And of course, a part 3.
