I've been seeing a lot of slander about these EADEM lip softening lip balms on my FYP and all I have to say to that is not over here because these are a holy grail product. These are the EADEM Le Chouchou lip softening balms and they are exfoliating because they have lactic acid and they're also really glossy as you can see on my lips and they have this grip to them that really stay on your lips. I saw some people say online that their lips started to peel when they use this and then people were confused, you can't use this for longer than 10 minutes, you're supposed to wipe it off. Well, EADEM cleared that up and said that you can continue to reapply these, you don't have to wipe it off after 10 minutes. As a cosmetic chemist upon first glance of this ingredient list and looks like any other lip balm or lip gloss, but when you read further down, a few things stick out to me that make it different from other lip balms in the market. You can see that it has a very thick, it glides nicely across the lips and it has a lot of cushion. You know that these stay on your lips forever. I feel like this lip balm lasts me hours on end even if I'm eating and that's due to some high molecular weight ester emollients that really shine and grip on the lips. A lanolin alternative ingredient in here is really unique that nice cushion. I truly mean say this lip balm feels far from chicken grease on your lips. To address the part where people's lips are peeling off after a few hours of using this, to be completely that is also my experience with these because the emollients in here do a great job at trapping all that. I find that those dead skin on your lips eventually you may that dead skin lips off. I usually just take a tissue and wipe it off. You don't have to worry about because once that dead skin comes to over-exfoliate underneath. Last but not least, I have to mention the applicator on this product. It's a metal tip which feels really nice on a small detail, but it doesn't go unnoticed. With this product, the shade indicator on any of these lip balms and as someone that likes to collect multiple shades of products that I like, I sometimes can't tell which one is which, but I can also understand as a product developer that this was a cost-saving decision. But I mean, guys have sold anyways. If you are looking for something high shine with actual benefit to your lips, definitely try these. And let me know if you have tried them.
