everything I ate in MONTREAL

I was on a trip for the week so here's everything I ate during my time in Montreal. I started Griffintown went to Mano Figa for their fresh focaccia sandwich. The Classico was honestly my favorite of the two and I would go back again just for that. Then a regular spot I go to is Lulu's for their Tuscan chicken pasta. The fresh pasta is truly unmatched. The Tuscan chicken is definitely one that I keep coming back for. Then I went to Griffintown again and tried a new spot I tried in Griffintown was Pizzeria Elena. Y'all, I'm not even kidding when I say that this was the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life to the point where I literally went back again for a whole pie. I cannot stress enough how good it is. Then moving upwards towards downtown core Pâtisserie Mahrouse. I come here every single time I'm in the city and I've yet to find a spot that is comparable to the types of sweets that they have. Then I went to the Time Out Market for some better chicken. The Time Out Market is a good spot to go if you don't have the bandwidth to track all the way to the actual restaurants of these vendors. Then I went to Sammi Soupe & Dumpling for their pork soup dumplings. Some of the freshest and best soup dumplings I've ever had and they're always so consistent. Then down by the Old Port did Tza Tzi Qui for Greek food. Started with the spanakopita. Insane how flaky and fresh the pastry was, but the showstopper was their kebab dish which I forgot to video. So, 10 out of 10. Then down the Old Port did La Cave à Manger for their affogato because I literally come to Montreal every single time from Toronto just for this. It is just insane how good the soft serve is. Then moving further west towards Saint-Henri went to the Atwater Market for fresh Montreal strawberries and jams. Usually at the Atwater Market I'll stop at one of their burger spots for a burger for breakfast, but I went to the market earlier in the morning and a burger for breakfast is kind of crazy. That being said, I went to Arthur's Nosh Bar for their seasonal pancakes. I only ever come here just for the pancakes because I am yet to find a place that actually has comparable pancakes, but definitely let me know if you have any other suggestions. Finally up at the Plateau Mont Royal/Plateau area, Kouign Amann Bakery. There is a reason why this is a hidden institution because the freshest pastry I've ever had. I cannot describe it, but at the same time, it is life-changing. Stop by Cafe Olimpico. I usually just get an iced coffee from there, which they usually treat as a coffee slushy, but I figured I'd try the remix because I've heard a lot about it. To be honest, it's a little overrated and I would just probably stick with the coffee slushy again. Then Pizza Toni for a slice of pepperoni with their hot honey. I will say I did Pizza Toni before Pizzeria Elena and if you want to make the track to Pizza Elena, I would do Pizza Elena over Pizza Toni. Then did Dalmata for soft serve. Y'all, I'm not even being dramatic when I say the cherry twist and pistachio chocolate twist insane how good it is. It is now my new favorite spot in the city for flavored soft serve. Just be prepared to eat it immediately and definitely make a mess because they gave it in the tiniest cup possible. Finally, you know I couldn't do Montreal without doing Bernie Beigne. I come here every time in Montreal and every time I'm so glad I did because they are some of the best donuts you will ever have. But yeah, that's everything I ate in Montreal.
