$6 Setting Powder ?!

I have in my hand a new affordable loose powder at the drugstore. It's $5.99. From Essence. And she's part of the Silky Blur family. If you're new here, my name is Shelby Ann and I'm obsessed with this Silky Blur concealer from Essence. $6. It says it is silky matte and soft focus. We're about to put her on right now. I'm going to give you my live reaction. I'm very excited for this. But I will be honest, I have very high expectations because I love the Silky Blur concealer. And if this doesn't give what it needs to give, I'm going to be honest with you and I'm going to tell you if it's worth your $6. I'm picking up some of the powder onto the puff. I'm coating it. I'm getting a nice even layer. I'm going to tap off the excess onto the palm of my hand. I'm going to go ahead and tell you this is a Fenty powder. I've gotten it all over the place and I had to like fan the room for a few minutes because I made a huge mess and then it was just like dust city. Tapping off the excess. We have a nice even layer. I'm going to go ahead and do this to set my chin. Look at that. Instant blurring. Wow. The real test is going to be to see how this wears though because I do have a pretty glowy base on and I want my powder to keep me matte all day. I'm sure. Okay. I'm going to go do the rest of my face. I'll be back. We'll talk about my thoughts. But so far, she looks good. My makeup is all done. This is what it's looking like. I did add quite a bit of highlighter to give me a glow. But my under eyes, as you can see, are still nice and matte and blurred, which I'm obsessed with. I want to do a full wear test on this powder and try it out and give you like my real deal thoughts after wearing it for a few more times. But initially, this is a slay.
