I studied every time God multiplied someone's resources in Scripture. The pattern never changes.

God multiplied David’s resources, even though becoming king may never have been his personal ambition. God blessed him because of his faithfulness. One thing I noticed while reading Scripture is this: if God had not blessed David with wealth and resources, Solomon would not have had what he needed to build the Temple for the Lord. David understood that everything he had came from God. Instead of treating his wealth as something to consume only for himself, he prepared for the next generation and for God’s purposes. Because of David’s stewardship, Solomon was able to build a place that brought glory to God. This reminds me of an important principle: God doesn’t multiply resources simply to increase our comfort or entertainment. He entrusts greater resources to people who are willing to use them for His kingdom and His glory. The question isn’t just, “Can God trust me with more?” It’s also, “What will I do with what He’s already placed in my hands?”
