Hey campers, have you ever had bird dogs? My son loves a bird dog, so I thought I'd make my own at the campsite. They came out great and they're so easy to make. Let me show you how I made them. Start with just a little bit of oil on your griddle and spread that out. Then you're gonna grab your chicken tenders. It will work better if they are thawed. I learned that the hard way. It'll work great either way. Just keep them covered to get them hot inside. It's gonna take a little bit, so you might need to find something to do in the meantime. You'll need to give them a flip a few times, making sure they don't get too dark or too crispy. I also recommend a generous dusting of the Blackstone Smash Burger seasoning. It's got a pickle flavor in it. It's delicious. Now, once your chicken is getting close to done, you're gonna want to toast your buns. Now take everything off of the hot griddle and put one chicken tender in each hot dog bun. Now here's where you can get creative with your toppings. We added shredded cheese to a couple. Add a little steam and that'll get your cheese nice and melty. Now I think that pickle is especially if they're Grillo's, they're a must on these bird dogs. And barbecue sauce is also an excellent addition to the cheesy ones. And who doesn't love a little spice, especially when it's Sriracha? Just a few dots. You can add anything you want to these.
