Tony's Italian Delicatessen has been a part of Montebello since 1965. My husband has been coming here ever since he was a little kid. His daddy used to bring him here after we got together over 20 years ago and introduced me to it. Ever since then, it became one of our traditions. Anytime we're in the Montebello area, we never leave without stopping here and taking sandwiches to go. It's still family owned and after more than six decades, it's one of those places that remind you that good food and tradition never really go out of style. There's something really special about walking into a place that's been serving the same community for generations. Those are the places I hope never disappear. If you've ever been here, tell me.
