I GOT DETAINED IN RUSSIA alright so we made it into Russia yes after flying through China I actually am landing in Moscow as an American however upon arrival Dilara took these videos she was very stressed she had been waiting for 30 minutes at this point "it's been 40 minutes now" until finally a few hours later I came down that escalator now I did not have access to any internet because of a few reasons but this time I was pretending like I didn't know her because I gave her my phone cannot believe it took me two and a half hours to get down but now I'm so happy this is why it took so long Didi went through with no issues I went from one room to another they asked me if I had any friends in Ukraine they asked me about what was in my phone but eventually I got through and it was honestly pretty painless although a little bit nerve wracking but we're here and we're trying to figure out hotel situation excited to see Russia but it's not quite a happy ending yet we are not able to make any actual hotel booking because our cards don't work here all Visa Mastercard any kind of card that's not a Russian card is banned here because of sanctions we're going from one hotel to the next and they have no availability until we found this one alright wish us luck now we need to go exchange money

I am traveling to Russia as an American This has been a country that I wanted to visit for so long, my entire life, and I can’t believe I’m here Getting the visa for Russia is actually quite easy for Americans and I was very surprised by that. I paid $190 for a visa for a 3 year visa at the New York City consulate This is honestly already kind of a difficult country to navigate, considering the language is impossible for me to read, and you can’t use any credit cards in the country, it is only cash They had a lot of questions for Americans at immigration and held me for about two hours just waiting until they had a five minute conversation with me! But I’m happy to finally be in Moscow and can’t wait to share more #moscow #russiatravel #russia🇷🇺 #femaletraveler
