I've been to China eight times and I always tell people to go to Guilin because high tech cities in China are amazing but the nature is even better here here I'm in a place found on the 2026 China Wonder Celestial Realms it looks fake but it's real it's called 2 Rivers & 4 Lakes Guilin actually sits in the middle of one of the most dramatic karst landscapes in the world there are over 2,000 Limestone peaks rising straight out of the ground and it's actually denser than Ha Long Bay so it makes sense that it's on the China Wonder List which offers so many different places to visit in the country and I'm so happy that Guilin is on the list because Guilin is one of those places where you don't have to go super far to see something really incredible you can just walk outside your hotel get on a boat and you're surrounded by beautiful nature so if you're trying to figure out where to start in China this list gives you a little bit of everything check out the 2026 China Wonder list before your next visit to China
