COME WITH ME TO THE ICONIC RED SQUARE IN MOSCOW RUSSIA now I never knew this building that kind of looks like Candy Land is actually a very famous church Saint Basil's Cathedral to be exact right in the heart of Moscow in the Red Square a place that has nothing to do with communism or the Soviet Union but actually comes from an old Russian word krasany which originally meant beautiful and so originally this was called Beautiful Square the cathedral is nine separate chapels that are all built on a single foundation every dome is totally different with different colors patterns and shapes and they all represent a different victory of Ivan the terrible he commissioned the cathedral in the 1500s after conquering Kazan it is said that he blinded the architect so that the architect could never create anything similar inside it is absolutely beautiful there is gold old everywhere there are incredible old paintings and we even got to hear this incredibly beautiful song by these guys now aside from the cathedral the Red Square is a really special place there was coronations held here military parades they've had public executions protests celebrations almost everything in Russian history has happened here the Kremlin is on one side and this massive luxury shopping centre is on the other and it's just as beautiful there but apparently everyone only comes for the ice cream The Red Square is truly iconic and it's honestly surreal that I'm standing here
