While everyone's been geeking out over the shape of the screen on the front of the new Galaxy Z Fold8. I think I need to remind you that most of us have used basically this exact same screen shape before. Because it wasn't long ago that the front of a smartphone used to look like well, this. So this phone is the Moto Z Droid which came out in 2016 and this thing deserves a video of its own honestly because it's so thin, thinner than an iPhone Air and S25 edge despite the fact that it came out 10 years ago. But just like every other phone during its time, it has a massive forehead and a massive chin. If I line up the front display of the Galaxy Z Fold8 and this Moto Z Droid, which is basically the standard smartphone size back in 2016, the display sizes are almost exactly the same. The only difference is this has no bezels while this one well, does. The only minor difference in the screen's dimensions is that the Galaxy Z Fold8 has a 16 by 10 front display while smartphones back then had 16 by 9 aspect ratio displays. But apart from that, the actual sizes of the displays are basically the same as it is on the Galaxy Z Fold8. But unlike what we had back then, this thing actually opens up. So the display sizes are almost exactly the same. The only difference is this has no bezels while this one well, does.
