If you've been following my journey, you know that I've been living in Dallas for almost two years now. I started off in a penthouse and I loved it, but I convinced myself that that wasn't exactly what I wanted. So I moved into a townhouse. I thought that I wanted more space, more privacy, and just a lower key lifestyle. Turns out I was wrong. You know the saying, you don't realize what you have until it's gone. And that's exactly how I felt after leaving my first penthouse. I missed the high rise life, the floor to ceiling windows, the natural lighting, the being less than 10 minutes away from pretty much everything. And just the overall energy of the city just fit me. So I made another move. Now I'm back in my penthouse and honestly, I feel like I got my spark back. I'm grateful to be here and excited to turn this place into a home. Now, I already know some people are gonna say, why don't you just buy? Renting is a waste of money. And I get that. But renting isn't always a bad decision. For me, I value flexibility. I like being able to experience different neighborhoods, different styles of living, and just to figure out what truly fits me before making the biggest financial decision of my life. One thing that I learned is you don't have to live your life based on what society says is the right next step. Buying a home is amazing if that's what you want. Renting is great if that's what you want. You have the freedom to build the life that fits you, not one that checks everybody else's boxes. This whole journey reminded me that sometimes you have to experience different things to figure out what actually makes you happy. Not every decision is going to be the right one the first time. It's about learning, growing, and genuinely getting closer to the life that genuinely feels like yours.
