The baozi especially got me — they tasted so much like the ones my grandma used to make and brought back so many memories. 🥹 Just a heads up: this is a cozy little restaurant and they can get VERY busy on the weekends, so come with a little patience. But I think the secret got out on how good this place is. It was packed. No matter what you do, you have to try their crispy beef rolls This was so delicious and unique. Definitely a must try. While I was waiting, I walked over to their little window where you can watch them make their xiao long bao fresh. So of course, I definitely had to try them. They were hot, so be careful, but so good. This is my favourite because these bao zhi were the part I wasn't expecting at all. They're soft, fluffy steam buns filled with meat, and they tasted so very much like the ones my grandma used to make. I actually had to hold back tears. Every bite brought back so many good memories. And there's so much more than just dumplings and bao They have a really good variety on the menu, and honestly, there wasn't one thing I didn't enjoy. Presentation. And even their to go packaging was beautiful. Mimi Garden definitely made my top three dumpling spots.
