We make around $500K a year... and this weekend we spent exactly $26. 😂 I think social media has convinced a lot of people that “high income” automatically means luxury everything. Private schools. Designer bags. Massive kitchens. Fancy vacations every month. The truth? Income and wealth are not the same thing. We still budget. We have financial goals. We’re paying off debt, investing for retirement, saving for our kids, and choosing experiences over keeping up with strangers on the internet. But every dollar has a job, and right now that job isn’t granite countertops or luxury shopping hauls. This weekend our paycheck bought... one trip to Waffle House. That’s it. Because building wealth often looks a lot more boring than social media would have you believe.
