everything our paycheck ate in the month of April as a high income family. My husband and I went on a vacation. It's called a vacation because our children did not come with us. It cost us $3,840. To be clear though, $1,500 of that was an investment in fun, aka, losing it at the Black Jack table. But $1,343 on groceries and $629 on eating out. We spent $672 in our bills category. We just lump in all of our streaming services, our electric, our water bill, all that kind of crap together. health and wellness category and we spent $485. Kids activities we spent $350. Fuel we do have one electric vehicle in the other car and I work remote and I don't really drive often. So we only spend $125 on fuel. $500 into our kids 529 accounts and that's because the first one's definitely not going to get a sport scholarship and the second one is absolutely going to need bill money. Stop my Roth contributions this month with $2,000 and we put $6,000 into our money market account. Our total variable spend to $1500 $1,944 in the month of April. And you'll notice that I didn't have any shopping last month, but don't worry, I'll be making it up this month.
