everything we spend on our family vacation as a high income family. Hotel was the entertainment. We stayed at the JW Marriott in Grand Lakes in Orlando. Rooms can average around $700 a night. Not around here. My hack. You need to be searching flexible dates and use the calendar view to find the cheap pockets. You throw in our MX Platinum $300 credit on top of that. For nights came to $1,115. Highly recommend being strategic about it guys. And because the hotel was the entertainment, no theme park budget here guys. Flow to the Lazy River, we hit the water slides, we played laser tag, watch fireworks and genuinely never left the property. Did find an arcade and that cost me $50 and 397 unnecessary arguments, but I guess that's a parenting tax. Great food. We packed snacks in breakfast with the kids because I'm not paying $22 for a hotel waffle. Lunch, we ended up splitting two entrees by the pool and dinner was our one real meal of the day mostly because the water park was closed and that was the only thing stopping my kids from eating a girl's cheese on the toilet. Another really good hack. My husband and I are not actually big drinkers. But we do love a THC drink. So we bought Wimps. I ordered a Sprite, served in, had a great time for a fraction of the bar price. All of that plus the Uber Eats cookies we got. That brought our total to $980. We got our total to $2,145.
