I keep saving content but when do I start using it? Most people think this is a motivation problem. But it's actually a systems problem which you have a lot more control over. I'm Kathryn. I have a degree in psychology and this is understanding your overwhelmed brain why it feels difficult to use saved content last week I talked about how when information is scattered across different locations your brain doesn't know where to go to act on something. The same goes for content. Some of it is in our Instagram folders, some of it is in our TikTok folders and the information itself is buried in videos. So when we're finally ready to act on an idea, the effort it takes to get back to it creates enough friction for us to just never do it. For information to be usable, it needs to be easy for our brains to find, digest and act on. One way that I do this is by screenshotting it, sending it to my task backlog and then writing the specific action that I want to take from it. Because saving content isn't the same system on Wednesday, I'm breaking down the three types of content we save and how to make each one easier for your brain to act on.
