supabase? Supabase bro? Supabase? Supabase? This is the game changer that's supposed to scale all your vibe coded applications. This is the secret sauce that you want to keep low key that no one will know about. This is what it is. Bro, as software engineers, we see managed services all the time. And we pick and choose which ones we want to use because it's a trade-off. These vibe coders, they love abstraction. They don't want to control anything. They want AI to do everything for them. And in addition to that, they'd love if a database and a backend just gave them everything out of the box. They don't want any control. Let me tell you something vibe coders. Good luck debugging your applications. Good luck in the future. You don't think your vendor locked in? Supabase got you, bro. They got you. Oh, but it's free. It's super generous. That's why you chose it. Dude, it's because they like you. They want to see you succeed. That's really what it is. It's not like they want to lock you in and offer scalability that's impossible for you to leave, right? They don't want to do that to you. They don't want to make sure you don't understand everything because they want to lock you in. If you want to build fast or scale fast, I get that you want to use Supabase at first, and that's fine. But they don't tell you straight up that it's going to be really hard later on to debug. I had this problem when Supabase chose to obfuscate and hide every single little thing when I want to look into why something was happening, why behavior was happening. I got so lost, bro. And I actually talked to the Supabase guys directly and what they told me back is, oh, you're not using Supabase CLI. The only CLI I'm using is cloud code. I like, personally, I like a normal PostgreSQL database. A normal PostgreSQL database. I don't need all these functions and stuff. You can do it in postgress. Postgress is great, bro. But I get it. These vibe coders, they get lazy. They want everything controlled for them. I get it, dude. If you want to go that route, that's fine. All I'm saying is don't glorify Supabase like it's a superpower that the world needed.
