We all know this and no one is talking about print. But print statements are dead. No one is writing those print statements. And those non-tech people or those that are new to tech. Let me tell you guys something. We used to write print statements. Every single block of code that we used to write, we had a print statement in there. You want to know why? Because we weren't advanced enough to use the debugger. Like, we didn't feel like it. Even if we knew how to do it. I mean, I used it all the time. I loved using print statements. It was OP. It was clear. It was easy, bro. I used to just throw that in there and I could see what I want to see. Easy work. But now, why do I need to debug? Why do I need to put a print statement? Even myself, I'm not saying AI replaces software engineers. I am saying AI is generating my code. I have a whole different methodology and workflow when it comes to writing code, generating code. So why bother writing print statements? I'm not talking about logging. I'm not talking about log4j, info logs, debug logs, error logs. That's still important. We still write those. I'm talking about the print statement. When we write print it and we see it in the console, no one is writing that anymore. It was the number one used before AI. You know what? It is. I miss it, bro. Because that was my favorite coding, bro. You guys can say anything you want. Recursion, dynamic programming, whatever it is. My favorite part of coding was the print statement and no one can say anything otherwise.
