Brandy Melville is lowk tough asl. I think they've been one of the best brands of like the last 10 years and I think it's because of their serious commitment to their brand and customer base. Like they don't switch up for anything. Like they stay consistent of their brandy ethos and exactly what they want to say over the last 10 years beyond anything. And I think it's almost like to their detriment. Like regardless of controversy, like the sizing dilemma and how the customer services in the store is very strategic. And I think, you know, yes it's controversial and yes it may not be right, I think that's how you build a cult like audience. And not many brands are able to replicate what Brandy does, meaning like the consideration of their creative, the consideration of the products they choose to sell is extremely high. It's just the production quality is like in the middle or even slightly low. And that goes the same thing as their product. Their product is can be easily replicated, you know, by any manufacturer, but it's the fact that the products they choose, the way they choose sizing and the way they advertise that product and not in the traditional sense is what makes them different. And Brandy doesn't even do advertising like most fast fashion brands. Like Brandy does organic marketing as their engine of advertising. Like they don't produce ads like many e-commerce or retail brands do. Like they don't do any graphic design on their advertising. It's the same as their organic. You can't tell the difference, you know, maybe other than the copy of the visual between their organic Instagram and an ad they put on Pinterest or a billboard they're putting up, right? And I think that's what makes it one of the best brands and almost can be studied by streetwear brands because Supreme is a perfect example of why this method works. It's because if you have this extreme hold onto your brand values and the look and feel you want to present and you do not let go of that over years and years where trends go up and down and consumer shift interests every six months, most brands would chase after that. Supreme, Brandy, and a couple other handful of brands are the opposite. They wait for the customer to readapt to what they're saying. They wait for the tides to turn back to them. I think that's the genius behind like Brandy Melville. As well as I believe their creative is actually good and it represents like kind of this niche cool girl look and I think, you know, their creative being shot a lot of it shot on film and shot on iPhone, it has this like young quality that doesn't feel overproduced, it doesn't feel corny, it's just right like how they want to display themselves. And if you do that over a consistent amount of time and you don't waver, you can very much end up with a cool like audience across the entire world that your demand is only rising with thousands of stores in every major city, right? So I think that's what makes Brandy like one of the best brands out right now.
