Twilight is gut wrenchingly, deep and important. It has this indie alternative aesthetic in the coloring, tones, and the way the film is shot, blending horror, romance, and suspense in a way that feels genuinely deep. The soundtrack complements the visuals perfectly, and the Paramore and alternative music especially bring all of those emotions to life. I think that combination is why Twilight has been able to transcend generations.
