Come apartment hunting with me in New York City, specifically in Forest Hills. I really thought this was the one. This unit: $550K, 2BR, 1BA, 1,000 sq. ft. It checked off almost every box. This is a two bed, one bath apartment that's about 1,000 square feet. List for $550,000. It's newly renovated, which is one of my non-negotiables. It's also on the 10th floor, so it gets a ton of natural light from all the windows, which is another must for me. It also has a decent amount of closet space, but my plan is to always turn a second bedroom into my dream walk-in closet anyway. The bathroom is a great size. Most of the apartments we've toured had tiny bathrooms, so this one definitely stood out. I really loved this apartment, but there was one major deal breaker. They don't allow pets. So as much as I loved it, this one just wasn't the right fit because I love my Bichon Frise.
