Hook
On the topic of family planning, I've started to let myself dream about my future family life in New York City. So today we're touring two different three-bedroom options. Just because if we're gonna have like three or four kids, it would be nice to have a little bit more space. I grew up in a family with three girls and a single mom and we always had a two-bedroom apartment. My sisters and I literally spent most of our childhood sharing a triple bunk bed. And all four of us had to share a bathroom, which caused a lot of sister fights back in the day. But for my future family, would I like to work hard so we can afford a bit more space? Absolutely. Especially since I know I'm gonna be a busy mom. I also want to be able to have space to have like a good home office. Obviously, I'm not pregnant yet and I don't think I'm going to be for several years, but I'm just letting myself dream and figure out like what might be possible. Also, my husband and I bought our first apartment in New York City, it took us like a year to find the right spot. And so I thought, why not just start the search for a larger three-bedroom option? Of course, my dog came with me to the appointments because she's to look at it since she is living forever and going to help me raise these kids. So I brought my sister Isa to one of the apartment tours because obviously she's going to be an auntie and still be my neighbor forever. And so when I pop these kids out, she's gonna be over a lot. So she needs to like it too. I don't know what the right timing is for me on any of this because I honestly don't need this space right now, nor can I afford it. But I'm just dreaming and seeing what's out there. Basically, just curating my vision board but in real life. Did I find it inspiring? Absolutely.
