I'm gonna show you guys what $1.1 million gets you when you buy an apartment in Manhattan. If you guys are new here, me and my husband have been taking you guys on every single apartment tour and this is part 16. And this is our apartment. Welcome to it. By the look on my face, you guys could probably tell I knew that this was the one. First things first are the herringbone floors. Are you kidding me? The floors are probably my favourite thing about our new apartment. Definitely going to do a massive mirror here, bigger than the one you see. I cannot wait to decorate this with you guys. Welcome into my dream New York City kitchen. Everything about this kitchen is more perfect than I could imagine. Look at our fridge! Look at our freaking fridge! I never could have imagined for this price we would find an apartment like this and I will explain why in another video why it was priced this way. In pre-war buildings, most apartments will have a freight elevator door so that door that I just pointed out goes to the freight elevator. They'll actually pick up our garbage, that's where we'll go do our laundry. Also the Wolf range stove, did you guys see that? Oh my god, I'm literally freaking out. Not only did the herringbone floors already sell me, but the fact that there is so much natural light in this apartment, it's actually insane. You just saw the gorgeous window in the kitchen, but there are windows in every single room including both bathrooms. You guys know we've been searching and searching for the perfect apartment with natural light and this was it. So this first room we're gonna use as a guest room, office, future nursery. Again, amazing natural light. This is a street view, beautiful blue skies. And then you walk into full bathroom number one. Again, another window. We really don't even have to touch anything here. Like, this is the first time we saw apartments with fully finished bathrooms that were stunning. It's kind of crazy, I really thought I wanted this very modern hotel looking apartment, but pre-war really took the cake for me because it truly feels like a house. Like, I feel like we could build a family here and it just feels so homey. The archways, the character, the fireplace, just everything screams home to me. One thing we were really happy to learn is that the fireplace does not work, which we actually were very happy with. Two gorgeous windows in the living room, beautiful natural light. You could see the blue skies again. And then when you turn back around you just see how spacious our living room is. Our dream is to do like a friends giving with a giant table that goes from the mirror foyer all the way to the living room windows. Here's our bedroom. I am calling it the New York City fishbowl bedroom because when I wake up in the morning, I'm gonna be like, oh my god, I can't believe I live in this city. It is a true New York City view, which is truly something I've always dreamt about. I know what a lot of you are thinking, oh my god, it's gonna be so noisy, but they have the city windows. You cannot hear a damn thing. This is the closet that we have the option to put the washer and dryer in. Not sure if we're gonna do it yet just because we need closet space. Here's our primary bathroom. It is gorgeous. Like, I am obsessed with it. I wouldn't change anything about it except for maybe a little bit of a paint job, different colour. The fact that this apartment was turn key for the 1.1 price blew our minds. We just kept saying it's too good to be true, but it was literally true. This place is ours. We cannot wait to make this place a home with you guys and I cannot wait to continue this journey with you. I hope you guys love it just as much as we do.
