Don't Work if you're a mom with kids under 5 do not work if you do not have to I recently saw a mom talk about working really hard when her kids were young so that they could have a better life when when they're older I would say 100% I would do the opposite of that advice I have four kids 19 18 16 and almost 15 and I mostly did not work until my youngest was 3 years old are we in a low more financial bracket than we could be absolutely did I postpone growing a business starting my savings are we a a little bit behind our peers 10 0% do I have any regrets absolutely not people are gonna tell you that your kids grow up really fast what no one tells you is how much they change through their 18 years at home with you 0 to 5 you are their entire world all they want to do is spend time with you and I know it's exhausting and I know it's a lot but you are their world and you will not be their world forever 5 to 12 you're half of their world they still wanna talk to you they still wanna spend time with you you're still a very critical figure in their life but less so and they're gonna give you more and more space from 5 to 12 and need you less and less 12 to eighteen and you're their launching pad you're their Uber driver you're their cook you're their personal shopper um you're not that important to them anymore they still need you you're still their foundation you still cheer them on they love you you can have a great relationship with them but you'll never be your kid's whole world again after 0 to 5 but you'll never be your kid's whole world again after 0 to 5 I would spend all my time with my kids when they're 0 to 5 and then I would build the thing you have plenty of time to make money and you can never ever ever get back the 0 to 5 years so if you're open to advice that's mine
