Day 29 ❤️ I don’t think words will ever truly do tonight justice. Watching our local community come together for one little boy was one of the most emotional things I’ve ever witnessed. Parents, children, teachers, friends and neighbours all turned up to run alongside Oscar. Together they carried giant balloons that spelled MASION, they wasn’t just holding the balloons running, they were holding onto hope. Standing there, all I could think was… I wish Masion could have seen it. I wish he could have looked out and seen all the people wearing his name, running for him, believing in him and refusing to let him fight this battle alone. This wasn’t just a run. It was a community wrapping its arms around a little boy and his family, reminding them that they will never walk this journey on their own. The biggest thank you to Karren for finding the strength to come tonight with Masion’s sister and brothers. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been, but having you all there meant more than words can say. We were running for Masion, and seeing his family there reminded every single one of us exactly why we’re doing this. We love you ❤️ To our incredible local Fire Brigade, thank you for taking the time to come and support Oscar and Masion. Seeing you there meant more than you’ll ever know and the kids absolutely loved it! Your kindness won’t ever be forgotten. A huge thank you to Julie’s Kiosk for staying open throughout the evening and supporting us every step of the way. Your generosity and encouragement have meant so much. And to Toni… thank you for helping organise everything. So much of tonight happened because of you, and we’re incredibly grateful. You’re the best ❤️ And thank you to Cody, Caroline and Jade from The Range, for filling the balloons with helium, when everyone else said no, you said yes even though it wasn’t something you were supposed to do. Finally, to every single person who came, ran, cheered, donated, clapped or simply stood by Oscar—you have no idea what you’ve done for Oscar and for Masion and his family. You have shown that kindness is still everywhere. That when one child needs help, an entire community can come together and lift him up. Tomorrow is the final mile, you’ve nearly done it Oscar, this is for you Masion💙 #milesformasion #fyp #30daychallenge #teammasion #cancer
