Day 20 ❤️ Today was a day we will never forget. Today was Red Day at school for Maison, and what a beautiful day it turned out to be. Oscar completed Day 20 of his mile a day challenge, but today he wasn’t running alone. Thanks to the incredible support of the school, we were allowed to use the school field, and children from Reception all the way up to Year 6 came together to run alongside him. Seeing so many children wearing red and running for one little boy was something we’ll never forget. The most special part of all… Maison was there❤️ Despite everything he’s facing, he stood on the sidelines cheering everyone on, giving high fives as the children passed and celebrating every runner at the finish line. Watching him smile while everyone rallied around him was incredibly emotional. Parents and teachers lined the field, clapping and cheering every child across the finish line. The support was incredible, and seeing the school community come together for Maison was something none of us will ever forget. It was a powerful reminder that even in the hardest times, kindness has a way of bringing everyone together❤️ To every child who ran - you’re all little superstars, every parent who cheered, every teacher who helped make today happen, and to the school for opening the field to us… thank you. You created memories that Oscar, Maison and all of us will treasure forever. 20 miles down. 10 to go - I hope you know how loved you are Masion❤️ (All parents gave permission for photos and videos to be shared)
