EVERYTHING I MADE FOR A FAMILY FRIENDLY SUMMER DINNER PARTY

This is everything I made for a family-friendly summer dinner party. My husband and I love to host dinner parties for years, but they've definitely evolved since having our daughter. Before she was born, I might have been able to finish things up in the kitchen while we hang out with our guests. But now I have to make sure she is throwing in hands in the backyard because another kid took her. So this menu was curated knowing I'd need to prep most of it ahead of time. I went with a Greek theme which felt perfect for the occasion. The dips are served cold and they're actually better if you prep them ahead, so the flavors have time to meld together. Same goes for the Greek salad. On side note, we had leftovers of this and I've been eating all week, so it's perfect for meal prep. This is my first time making homemade pita and I'll be honest, I think it could use some more work. Everyone told me it tasted good, but they might be lying. I also made some Greek roasted potatoes. They roast in a lemon and chicken broth mixture and they're so good. Then Rich helped me grill up some Greek marinated chicken skewers. You could definitely go all out with the plating, but we are not in a fancy plating season of our lives. I just focused on the flavors here and did what I could with the time that I had.
