Here's everything I made an 8-person dinner party. I'm back with my extremely VIP clients who are, of course, the hot gay guys who I go to the gym with. And if you'll remember, last dinner party we called it The Other 7:15 because the class at the gym that we're regulars at 7:15. So for this one, we're it 7:15 to Roma, and going to be an immersive Italian experience. And while we were, of course, very sad he make it, our resident make it, our resident gluten free gay was out of town, which means the girls, which means the girls eating gluten, okay? We're being crazy. So the day before the event, I made a pistachio tiramisu for dessert. I made this Calabrian aioli to serve with some fried calamari. And I also blanched a bunch of basil to make this pistachio pesto for a pasta dish. And then on the morning the dinner, I breaded some chicken cutlets in panko Parm. Truly relentless with all of gluten, but I mean, it's Italian way. We're headed to Roma. My friend Andrew is the who's hosting the. I got to his apartment, he worked on the florals, the table and and I got started by grilling off some zucchini. I also sliced up the and got it in a quick buttermilk marinade, and then I tossed it in a and flour mixture. I really had fried calamari on my brain recently, so was excited to get to cook. So we put that out as little snacky bite for when. The table is set, and conveniently, one of the starting a Limoncello brand. So he was making us really delicious amaro cocktails. Shout out Goose Juice. Then I started frying the cutlets, you know, boys gotta eat. They need their protein. I also mixed together spaghetti with that pistachio pesto, and dressed and tossed the and Andrew dressed and tossed the arugula and Endive salad. This wine label obviously really spoke to us. zucchini with burrata, prosciutto, and anchovy, prosciutto, and anchovy, and then I finished off bread crumb chicken with a simple arugula and cherry slaw. Plating is the most yet the most fun and rewarding part of this whole. For me, it's more about people around the table, eating, sharing experience.
