New survival THRILLER released this week

A new survival thriller released this week. It's a shark crime hybrid and we need to talk about it. This one is called Above & Below. It follows a group of friends whose dream vacation in Mexico takes a terrifying turn when their diving trip becomes a fight for survival. After they are attacked by criminals at sea, Tatiana and her friends are trapped in the ocean, caught between hungry sharks below and a ruthless enemy above. With limited oxygen and nowhere to run, they must rely on their courage and instinct to survive the nightmare that is unfolding around them. It's basically a lose-lose situation. I'm honestly not sure which option would be worse. I like that this movie isn't just centered around a shark, there's another threat that comes into play and that just makes the situation more time-sensitive and tricky. It also stars Antonio Banderas who is always so fun to see in a movie. Shark movies have been pretty hit and miss this year, but this one looks like it could be promising.
