This one is about a famous pop star who is preparing for a major comeback, which she reconnects with a strange best friend and former costume designer. But as old wounds resurface, Mary also finds herself dealing with a disturbing supernatural presence that may be connected to both of their shared past. Give me all the psychological horror and I am a happy girl. If you are looking for a music, psychological drama thriller, you can find this one on HBO Max. Next up is Passenger. This one is about a couple that is living the van life. They witness a gruesome accident and when they try to leave the scene, they realize something has followed them. A demonic presence known as the passenger begins to stalk them, turning their road trip into a terrifying fight for survival. I missed this one earlier, so I'm excited to finally watch being trapped on an isolated road at night is terrifying enough and then adding the supernatural element just makes it such a terrifying situation. If you also missed this one, you can find it on Paramount+ And then we have Yellow Eyes. This one follows a man that inherits his uncle's home and he finds a strange idol hidden beneath the floorboards. Once he disturbs it, he starts experiencing disturbing hallucinations and changes in his behavior. This leads his wife to a terrifying connection to an ancient cult. Cult movies are some of my favorites and so if you enjoy movies like that as well, you can find this one on Screambox and VOD. Buffet Infinity. This one starts as a goofy rivalry between two businesses that gets completely out of hand when Buffet Infinity starts expanding and literally swallowing everything around them. Then a bizarre conspiracy starts unfolding, bringing some seriously strange supernatural forces into the mix. The whole story is told through fake local commercial, which is such a unique driving point for a movie. This one sounds really interesting and I definitely want to check it out. You can find this one right now on Shudder. My Husband's Sister. This one is about a con artist who is trying to turn his life around, but his past comes back to haunt him. The caregiver he wants new sets his sights on the wealthy woman who gave him a second chance. If you are looking for a mystery drama thriller, you can find this one for free on Tubi. And last but not least, Tenebris. This one follows a grieving man who returns to his hometown to sort through his late mother's belongings. Only to become obsessed with a brutal capture on his ring doorbell camera. The deeper he digs into what happened, the more disturbing things get and something unsettling may be lurking much closer than he realizes. The filming style is different because the movie plays out through doorbell camera footage. And I just love when people try something new.
