Some more thoughts from this like entire decade of what was that Actually what was that? Why did I make myself so miserable? Why did I literally carry so much shame for no reason? It could have actually been literally the best decade of my life, but I spent it feeling so behind, so much shame for no reason. Why did I do that? Actually, do not have to work in a field that is even remotely similar to what you went to school for. College degree, great concept. Excellent concept. We love higher education. But sometimes the higher education and getting the diploma is not the most important part. I went to school for pre-med, like on my undergrad and pre-med. I worked in marketing. Actually, you should never feel shame for deciding to do something unrelated to your college degree or your college diploma. Like, shocker, you might not know what you want to do in your life and for the rest of your life when you go to college. You literally might not. Number two, dating is one part of your life. It is just one. There are so many other cups that you can fill in your life outside of dating. It should not be the center of your life. Because like, so much of my 20s feeling so bad about never being in a relationship. I didn't get my first serious boyfriend until like my late 20s and I was like, what's wrong with me? What's wrong with me? I had the experience of like being able to fill all of these other cups in my life, hanging out with my friends, traveling, moving to new cities, focusing on my career. You could still obviously do those things when you're in a relationship, but if you're someone who like literally makes yourself feel so shame for not being in a relationship, you're not gonna like going out. You're not gonna like going out. And you need to have people in your life that respect and understand that. Last thing that I literally just thought of that is one of my favorite things to do now, like literally leaving my 20s. Every single day, you should call somebody. Every single day. Whether it's your mom, your dad, your brother, your sister, your best friend from home, like call somebody. I make it a habit to every single day call someone on my way home from work. Like, I love the art of calling somebody. I love the art of talking to the people in my life. And I do think we lose sight of what it means to talk to our parents, to talk to the people in our lives every single day. And it's such a privilege to be able to make those phone calls every single day and be able to call your loved ones is like, actually such a gift. So many more things because truly like what was that? What was that? This decade. Um, but let me know if you want another video.
