How to stop solving everyone's problems like a leader, not a manager. Number one is, you have to stop answering that first question, right? A manager is just gonna say, okay, well, here's what I would do. But a leader says, look, before I. I share any of my thoughts, what options have you already considered? Every answer that we give too quickly, it just trains them to come back to you for the next problem. If. If I weren't here, what would you do? And then number two is, we wanna let people struggle productively. A manager just says, look, I'll take care of it this time. But a leader says, look, I know that this is challenging, but I. I think that you're capable of working through it. Now, I will support you without taking over. Growth usually happens during the struggle, not after someone rescues you from it. What's the next step that you think makes the most sense? Benjamin Franklin would say, tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember, but involve me and I learn. And number three, my favourite is we wanna become a thinking partner. Not the answer, but a manager just says, well, here's how to fix it. But a leader says, alright, let's think through this together. I'll. I'll ask you some questions and then you build the solution. See, every problem that you solve for someone else is one less problem that they learn how to solve on their own. What system can you put in place so that this problem doesn't come back? See, managers become the team's best problem solver. But leaders, they build teams who can solve problems without them. And look, leadership is not a title, right? It's a fire. And we have the opportunity to ignite it, not only in ourselves, but in others. Now, if you like these little tips and frameworks, check out my profile and follow me.
