Hello, my name is Shing and I just moved to L.A. two weeks ago, absolutely knowing no one. I also just turned 25 and starting over in a brand new city is kind of scary. But I'm determined to not let that get in the way of still doing fun plans, especially because this has always been my dream city. I know I mentioned this app a few times in my past videos, but now that I'm finally here and the app has finally launched. I'm so excited to use this new app called Butter to make fun plans with new people. Especially with moving to new city, I kind of wanted to take like non-traditional route to meeting new people because I feel like going to like sports clubs or things like that. Like you're going to go and then maybe everyone already knows people and it's not as like inclusive and everyone has their own groups. Whereas on butter you can post a plan and then anyone can join it from there and they also have different profiles so you can kind of get to know them beforehand as well as like are open to meeting new people. So especially because I'm like not sporty whatsoever and the most I can do is like a walk. I made a plan next week on butter to go for a little walk around West Hollywood and it's super super chill. just like grabbing a matra and then walking around. I feel like West Hollywood is such a walkable area, so that's kind of why I chose it.
