You're EHIC is now invalid 🚨 FREE replacement 🚨

If you still have the blue EHIC sat in your wallet, then you need to get a replacement soon. Travelling around Europe, be covered. The EHIC was the old European Health Insurance Card which covered you for state medical emergencies while you were travelling. But these were replaced in January 2021. Were replaced in 2021, they were still used until the expiry date on the card. But they were only valid for five years. And since they were replaced in 2021 and we're now in 2026, you're definitely not got one. You get yourself a GHIC, the Global Health Insurance Card. It's really simple to do. You pop onto the NHS website, simply apply, it is free to do so and a new one sent to your house.
