14 hours. 7 hours of foiling. 🤍✨ This was such an incredible transformation! My beautiful client came in with multiple bands of color throughout her hair—dark brown, natural regrowth, orange, red, and yellow. She also has very thick, curly hair, so this was definitely a major color correction. Our goal was to embrace her natural grey while creating a soft, seamless blend that would eliminate the harsh demarcation line. Protecting the integrity of her hair was my number one priority throughout the entire process. We started with Malibu CPR to help remove artificial color and make the lightening process smoother. Throughout the appointment, I used deep conditioning treatments to keep her hair healthy, followed by a primer shampoo before toning. For her final color, I used Joico Silver Toner, then refined everything with Redken Shades EQ 10T + a splash of 10VV to create this beautiful, soft silver finish. To lock everything in, I finished with Goat Topcoat, which helps extend the life of the toner and keeps the color looking fresh longer. Watching her reaction at the end made every minute worth it. She looked in the mirror and was absolutely speechless.
