Alan Jones takes the stand tomorrow after 60 years of abuse that took place in several of the multimillionaire’s luxury homes. Broadcaster Alan Jones, who at 85 is only now being put on trial after decades of abuse that was covered up by the Liberal Party and several high-profile people including two ex-Prime Ministers, who belong to the broadcaster’s inner circle. They have protected him over the years, as only wealth can do and has done in this country for far too long. Alan Jones was a long-term tenant in his Circular Quay apartment, which is located in the famous “Toaster” building, otherwise known as the Bennelong Apartments. It was developed by Henry Roth, father-in-law of Jillian Segal, who purchased the land in Circular Quay. The development was completed in 1999 and Alan Jones became a tenant in 2001 and eventually bought his apartment on the sixth floor in 2017. This was the apartment where Alan Jones was arrested two years ago on 26 counts of alleged abuse, which rose to 44 charges before being reduced again to just 22.
