The coolest thing we did in Tokyo on our honeymoon wasn't a hotel or a meal. It was buying a pair of sunglasses. 🕶️ Solakzade sits in the basement of the Goro's building in Harajuku. No walk-ins. Appointment only, arranged over WhatsApp before you go. Inside it's chandeliers, antique mirrors, and roughly 10,000 frames. None of it secondhand. All unused deadstock, pulled from around the world by two brothers from Osaka. Some of it dates to the 1800s. Then they measure you. Pupil distance, face shape, which lens colors complement your skin tone and which ones fight it. You don't browse a wall and guess. They build the pair around your face. I walked out with a pair from the 1970s. My wife got hers from the 1960s. Brad Pitt and Michael B. Jordan both got their pairs here. After sitting in that room, that tracks. We're already going back next year. Which decade are you picking? Tell me in the comments. A lot more Japan and honeymoon content on the way. Stay tuned. 👀 Follow for more tips to supercharge your points accumulation, elevate your travel, and let's work smarter — not harder. 🚀 #Japan #Tokyo #Harajuku #VintageEyewear #Solakzade
