There’s just something about a good old-fashioned buttermilk pie that feels like home. ❤️ I had buttermilk that needed to be used, so Sunday afternoon seemed like the perfect excuse to make one… well, two! 😂 This recipe is so easy. Everything goes into one bowl, there’s no crust to fool with, and it actually makes its own light crust while it bakes. Just a heads up: The recipe below makes TWO 9-inch pies. If you only want one pie, simply cut every ingredient in half. If you make it, come back and let me know what you think! Recipe (Makes 2 Pies) 🥧 Buttermilk Pie (Makes 2) * ⅔ cup butter, melted * 1 cup Bisquick * 2 cups buttermilk * 3 cups sugar * 2 teaspoons vanilla * 6 eggs Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Spray two 9-inch pie pans with nonstick cooking spray. 3. Add all ingredients to one bowl. 4. Mix with a hand mixer until smooth. 5. Divide evenly between the prepared pie pans. 6. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and a toothpick or butter knife inserted in the center comes out clean. 7. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
